*singing* It’s the final countdown… to my preview of Allison and Michael’s recent engagement session! And in case you couldn’t tell from the pictures I’m about to show you, these two lovebirds are ALL about football.
Can you guess how they spend their Thursday nights and Sundays in the fall? That’s right – cheering for their two favorite teams. As you can see, their house is a house divided - Allison is a Philadelphia Eagles' fan while Michael is a Pittsburgh Steeler's fan. Naturally, she wore her custom Eagles' jersey while he wore his custom Steeler's jersey.
When I asked Allison to tell me about how they met, her eyes lit up with the story. "We met on a dating site called plenty of fish. Then after a few days of talking we agreed to meet up that Saturday at his football game. Then we went to a bar called big Woody's and had a few beers and been together ever since." They even went to the same bar after their engagement session to watch a college football game. As you can tell, football is a strong part of their foundation.
The big day is right around the corner – May 30, 2020 – and I think I might have a couple good gift ideas for anyone who’s shopping for these two. A pair of tickets to a football game? A signed jersey they can frame and hang in the house? A gift card to Woody's? Football-themed dish towels? I’m too good at this…
