We meet again, dear blog readers!
I recently photographed Jennifer and Joseph at Valley Forge National Historical Park. This soon-to-be wedded couple will be getting married on May 16, 2020. We can't wait to capture their love and their special day.
Jen first met Joe during his summer vacation to Florida in 2012. He went to visit his cousin and Jen lived in Florida at the time. They stayed in touch by email and the phone until he asked her to be his girl friend in 2013. The two love history - especially Valley Forge (which is why it was so perfect to do their engagement session there). One day while they were walking under the arch, Joe got down on one knee and asked Jen to spend the rest of their lives together. How could she say no, right?!?! Isn't that so sweet! I love when proposals and engagements are done in a location that is special to the couple.
The couple will be married at Saints Simon and Jude Catholic Church this spring. Jen said she is "mostly ready for the reception and our first dance. I think dancing with our family and just celebrating our marriage is going to be amazing."
I know it's going to be a gorgeous wedding!
Future wedding details aside, let's get to the present: Jennifer and Joseph's engagement session! These two are real naturals in front of the camera. Their good looks, fabulous outfit choices, a sublime location and their genuine love for each other made this photo shoot one of my favorites yet!
Here's to many, many happy years together!
