Allaire State Park Engagement :: Taylor and Colin :: NJ Engagement Photographer

We meet again, my dear blog readers!

I photographed Taylor and Colin at Allaire State Park back in October

- yes, I am behind on blogging. This soon-to-be wedded couple will be getting married in July at the gorgeous Estate at Eagle Lake. This beautiful couple will be surrounded by a

beautiful botanical garden that overlooks a lake. I mean, check out those photos to the right. Lakeside ceremony with a floating fountain, on-site bridal suite with professional salon stations for your preparations, and large tent for your reception - it is one of my favorite places to photograph at. Like myself, Taylor is very excited for the location of her wedding.

I know it's going to be a gorgeous wedding!

Taylor and Colin first met in high school but they didn't start dating until they were in college. Colin proposed on Taylor's birthday! He made dinner and popped the question while she had a mouth-full of chicken parm. What a good way to make the moment memorable - and yummy, who doesn't love chicken parm?

Future wedding details aside, let's get to the present: Taylor and Colin's engagement session! These two are real naturals in front of the camera. Their good looks, fabulous outfit choices, a sublime location and their genuine love for each other made this photo shoot a wonderful time. Oh, and I forgot their surprise guest stars of their photos - doggos! We love dogs - Rick and I have two rescue pups (Bella who is 7 and Shadow who is 6) so naturally we get excited when our couples bring their furry family members to their photo sessions. The two work with a local rescue group and often have multiple dogs living with them. If you ever want to help out these needy animals, check out Wag On Inn Rescue.

Taylor recommends doing research when planning your session to make sure there isn't any events scheduled for the same day. Neither of us did this and we were limited to spots in the park to shoot at - which we made the best of and still got some amazing photos. Check them out.
