I LOVE CHURCH WEDDINGS!! Don't get me wrong, I love all weddings, but there is something about a wedding inside of a church. It just feels so pure and iconic. I think I'm a sucker for those stained glass windows - especially when the light comes through at just the right moment. Stephanie and Justin's wedding took place at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Hamilton, NJ - it's a mini St. Patrick's Cathedral.
Stephanie and Justin were friends in high school (fellow Northern Burlington alumni) and reconnected after graduating college in 2015. These two were one of my couples that had to postpone their wedding, however they actually moved up their original wedding date and got married in Stephanie's parents' front yard by her maid-of-honor, Heather. The intimate ceremony was shared by just the couple's parents and grandparents with their own vows. On their first anniversary, Stephanie and Justin had their big church wedding and reception with all their friends and family. Stephanie said that "it was worth the wait."
Following the ceremony, the bridal party and families joined Stephanie and Justin at Sayen Gardens in Hamilton Township. Sayen is one of my favorite locations to do sessions. We've done engagement sessions, family photos and weddings at the park. Since we were at Sayen Gardens, we wanted to make sure we took advantage of waterfalls:
About their wedding photos, Stephanie said, “Brittany was a joy to have as our photographer! Her easy going personality made her great to work with and she really listened to any photo ideas we had. She took both posed portraits and fun memory photos. It helped a lot having her and her husband so we could divide and conquer pictures of our bridal party. There was even music playing to everything lighthearted and fun. It really felt like we had a family friend taking pictures for us.” How about that?
