People! I am so excited to share Hannah and Mark’s wedding with you today, which could have seriously been featured (and very well may be in the future) in ANY bridal magazine worldwide. (In fact, Embrace Beauty Magazine will be featuring this wedding in their upcoming publication set to be released on March 8, 2024) These two have impeccable taste, to the point where I cannot even describe how perfect every single detail was. It’s a good thing I’m a photographer, then, yeah?
The couple first met when they were 12 years old through mutual family friends. It was love at first sight. You can look back at their engagement session blog for their love story.
From the insanely gorgeous floral arrangements to the decadent dessert and coffee bar, there wasn’t a thing that wasn’t thought of and carefully planned. And when I saw Hannah in her wedding dress, I almost lost my breath! (Can’t even imagine how Mark must have felt seeing her walk down the aisle)!
"My dress was the last one I tried on. As soon as I put it on I knew it was the one. I always wanted a traditional gown, one that was reflective of my mother's wedding gown. I added on sheer sleeves with lace appliques. I felt like a princess!” WOWZA! Hannah found the perfect dress for her at David's Bridal.
Hannah said that their "wedding was chaotic, fun, emotional, exhausting, and magical. It started as quickly as it ended. It was amazing to be in the same room and spend the entire day with people who helped make our love story become what it is. God has been so good to us!"
The couple decided against doing a first look before the ceremony. "We decided to wait so that we could encounter each other for the last time as fiancées, as I was walking down the aisle and Mark was waiting to receive me as his bride. I would not have changed a thing, it was beautiful!" The middle photograph above shows just how moved Mark was to see Hannah. This is one of my favorite photographs to capture on a wedding day - the look of one partner's face when they see their future spouse walk down the aisle.
Her favorite moment, while it was hard to pick a favorite moment as the entire day was beautiful, was the wedding mass. Hannah finally got to walk down the aisle to the love of my life, "the man that God hand-picked for me to spend the rest of my life with, it was the happiest moment of my life," according to Hannah.
