Oyster Point Hotel Wedding :: NJ Wedding Photographer :: Candice & Eric

There’s something about a classic, formal wedding inside of a church that gets me every time. It just feels so pure and cinematic. I love the pews, the pulpit, the architecture, and – if I’m lucky – the stained glass windows. Candice and Eric’s wedding took place at the Church of the Precious Blood in Monmouth Beach, NJ, which has this beautiful stained glass window above the alter.

These two met by swiping right on each other on the Tinder app about 4 years ago. After a few boring messages, Candice agreed to meet Eric for a cocktail.... and hasn't left him alone since! Eric proposed 3 years later and here we are looking at their wedding photographs! Isn’t that the sweetest story?

Since Candice arranged for a horse drawn carriage to escort them from the church, we wanted to make sure we took advantage of the opportunity for photos:

About their wedding day, Candice said, “There are too many moments to count! The entire day was wonderful and so much fun." Eric noted watching Candice walk down the aisle as well as the violin performance during the reception were highlights for him. Candice also said that her mom curling her hair, hearing her uncle sing beautifully during the Mass, and surprising Eric with a groom's cake during the cake ceremony stuck out as memorable moments.

You guys are going to rock this whole being married thing. Thanks for sharing your day with me!
